The steps in this section will go over how to install KeePass on your local machine and will go over how to create strong passwords for each service that you'll be signing up with. If you are already using another password manager, such as LastPass, then you can skip to the Generate Secure Passwords for the Various Services section below but you'll need to figure out how to generate and store secure passwords using your password manager.
Come up with a strong KeePass master password. Make your KeePass master password at least 15-characters long and use a mix of lower-case, upper-case, numbers and symbols in your password. Go over the following article, which explains how to create a strong password:
